The Apraxia RainbowBee app offers a comprehensive approach to supporting children with speech production challenges linked to apraxia. Therapists utilizing the Apraxia RainbowBee app can select from three levels of complexity while adjusting the type of visual, auditory, tactile, and lexical prompts provided. Additionally, the app includes a plethora of images and video recordings, with options for therapists to incorporate their own materials to offer more personalized therapy sessions.

Research indicates that differentiating childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) from other articulatory disorders often relies on observing increased error rates with phonetic complexity and utterance length, particularly when incorporating challenging phonemes such as sibilants or affricates (Yorkston et al., 2010).
